Designed with approximately 25 distinct spaces, in addition to the 350 luxuriously-appointed guest rooms, the Londoner also boasts a spa and pool area with a steam room and sauna, a high-tech fitness room with smart progress-tracking machines, an incredibly large conference space, and a screening room that is used for movie premieres and award shows. According to Hotel Director Charles Oak, over half the building is below ground, which is the secret to the Londoner’s design.

“On a weekend, we have easily 2,000 people in this building but the clever part of the building is you can be in parts of it, and you would think you’re in a smaller boutique hotel,” says Oak. “Because the building was so big, that drove us to find ways of finding a design and an operating model that gives us both.” In the busy center of London, the hotel offers its guests a rare opportunity to find impeccably-designed private areas where they can have a few moments to themselves.
